As a fifth-generation resident of the Heights and the daughter of a hairdresser, I have been able to combine my two loves (home and hair) at Shine in the Heights!

While attending classes at the University of Houston, I enjoyed welcoming clients from behind the front desk at one of Houston's top salons. After graduating with a BS in Sociology and a minor in Mathematics, I immediately went on to earn my cosmetology license and began assisting master stylists. Learning is a passion of mine, and I've been certified by L’Oréal Professional in hair color, cutting, and finishing, as well as by the Business of Balayage in advanced balayage. I'm also a Brand Ambassador for Kérastase. I regularly attend classes to further build my skill set; most recently at the Goldwell Academy in NYC. I am thrilled to bring my passion for hair and advanced education to the Heights community.
